Emma is the creator of ‘FootNotes’ and an advocate for creating equal opportunities for females in both Australian and International tap industry.

Emma trained from an early age with amazingly talented teachers such as Julie and Carrie Green, Robert Sturrock, Tim Maddren, Kelly Aykers, Etienne Khoo, Vince Calingasan and Dana Jolly.

Emma was accepted into the first full time course at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance. She appeared several times in Neighbours during this time. Emma was also a member of Rewind performing in gigs around Australia.

Emma continues her training and performing alongside other Australian tap greats including Grant Swift, Luke Alleva, Glenn Wood, Christine Denny, Thomas Wadelton and former and current Tap Dogs

In 2016, Emma successfully auditioned for Sarah Reichs’ Tap Music Project Summer Intensive, received a scholarship for LA Tap Festival and appeared in Chloe Arnold’s Syncopated Ladies “Single Ladies” video.

Being a regular participant of the Australian Tap Dance Festival, Emma has had the opportunity to be trained and inspired by international tap performers such as Ayodele Casel, Sarah Reich, Jason Samuels Smith, Derick K Grant, Jessie Sawyers, Chloe Arnold and the one and only Ted Louis Levy.
